Community Physiotherapy Clinic Program
The Ministry of Health has developed a system to provide basic physiotherapy to Ontarians through the Community Physiotherapy Clinic (CPC) program. This system at Anders Physiotherapy usually includes treatments twice weekly for a short period of time to be determined by the Registered Physiotherapist on your first visit. CPC physiotherapy is exercise based and is available for those without extended care coverage who meet the below qualifications. There are no fees for CPC physiotherapy service and each visit is approximately 20-30 minutes in duration. A doctor’s referral is required that states the specific reason for physiotherapy. You qualify for CPC physiotherapy if you have had an acute injury or flare-up of a chronic condition and are:
  • age 65 or older
  • age 19 or younger
  • any age after an overnight hospitalization for a condition that requires physiotherapy
  • and/or receive benefits from O.W. (Social Assistance) or O.D.S.P. (Please bring proof at time of visit.)
